Blackhawk School District is looking to the future of education. As such, we are excited to work with the Board of Education and the community to provide the very best services possible to the youth of the community. Through the support and guidance of the Blachkawk School Board, we continue to develop and excel in a wide variety of ways. The success of the Blackhawk School District is directly related to the District’s relationship with the community and building strong partnerships that benefit our students. We recognize the need for strong leadership, as Blackhawk School District must work closely with local agencies, local and state government, and institutions of higher education as we prepare students to be college and career ready.
Blackhawk is a firm believer in building partnerships that provide a strong foundation for our youngest learners. In a cooperative partnership with Western Beaver, we offer an early childhood program to students throughout the region. If students are enrolled in school during their early childhood years, we can reduce the need for remediation, discipline, poor attendance, and provide a smoother transition to school.
We are fortunate that our community embraces the school and provides a great deal of support to both its academic and extra-curricular programs. Blackhawk has a rich tradition of developing students through challenging them, inspiring them and preparing them through a wide variety of programs. As our mission states: Blackhawk School District’s mission is to empower every student to achieve his/her best everyday.
